FLL, PBI, Brightline, I-95, and A1A choices

Getting to Boca Raton.

Boca Raton is reached from Palm Beach or Fort Lauderdale airports, Brightline and Tri-Rail stations, I-95, Florida’s Turnpike, and local roads to the beach parks.

FLL

Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood has the broadest flight choice for many travelers. Compare the live drive with PBI rather than assuming it is faster.

PBI

PBI is the airport code for President Donald J. Trump International Airport north of Boca. Compare its live drive and flight schedule with FLL before booking.

Brightline

The station at 101 NW 4th Street is near downtown. Beach resorts, Red Reef, and Spanish River still need rideshare, hotel transport, or a car.

Fort Lauderdale

about 30-45 minutes via I-95 in ordinary traffic

Compare flight schedules and the live drive with PBI before booking.

PBI

about 35-45 minutes in ordinary traffic

President Donald J. Trump International Airport is north of Boca Raton; compare its flights and live drive with FLL.

Miami

about 60-90 minutes depending on traffic

Friday afternoon, holiday, and event traffic can add substantial time.

I-95 for the direct approach

I-95 is normally the direct north-south route. Friday afternoon, holiday, and crash delays can widen every estimate, so check the live route before leaving the airport.

A1A after arrival, not as a shortcut

A1A is useful for the coastal view and access to the beach parks, but signals, bridges, and local traffic make it a poor default airport route when time matters.

Car note: Brightline and rideshare cover downtown, while a car carries beach bags and child seats directly to Red Reef, Spanish River Park, and resort check-in.
